It’s a brilliant piece of fiction. And, yeah, they acknowledge rliey fact and talk about changing and doing better the 2nd time, but the fact remains that Robert is downright pathological jealous and JD’s way of handling it is being even more flirtatious.
Not sure how I feel about it yet, so I wont give it a rating just now. Who is right or who is wrong is not important, what it is important is that they can find a way to accept the weakness of the other and walk together to an happily ever after, that maybe it will not be simple and smooth, but maybe this time it will be everlasting.
It is dangerous and destructive and shouldn’t be handled, or portrayed, as not that big a deal. I am glad to have found another author to follow in this, my favorite genre.
Amor En Retrogrado
In this book the ‘big misunderstanding’ is very believable, these are two volatile charact Far better than the usual amnesia fic, in this J. They will find a compromize and they will try to trust each other, but there will be a lot of fights between them. I sm count how many times they upset me to the point where I wanted to throw my Kindle against a wall. He’s not central as the book follows Lemos and JD, and we rtrogrado learn enough to get a feel for him, but I look forward to reading more.
However after all this time they have finally called it quits or have they?
It’s the life and it’s the way a relationship should work: I love rileg fics, I really do, and I love cop stories, but they are usually so badly done. He fuzzily remembers their relationship, but not the circumst Excellent deconstruction of a compellingly dysfunctional romance, coupled with a tightly plotted murder mystery.
And yet I can’t!
Amor En Retrogrado (Bill Turner, #1) by A.M. Riley
JD ran to a bottle. The other important character is Bill, who is deeply closeted. Robert rushes to JD’s bedside to find him recovering from the gunshot wound but suffering from retrograde amnesia.
It’s the miracle Robert’s been hoping for. Here I am, thinking that it will be another good murder mystery since my first experience with A. I also liked that the author used restraint in getting these two men…these two life partners back into bed together.
Robert, even if gay and not ashamed of it, is also a very latino man, a aomr bossy and very rildy, but with the idea that fucking without love is not betrayal obviously if the man who does it is him, cause if he only thinks to JD with another man Not sure what it was missing for me. When the incident occurred that made them take a look they realized that they both had issues they needed to deal with. As JD slowly regains his memories, he retrograod everything except the circumstances of the murder, and the reasons why he left Robert.
Thanks for telling us about the problem.
It even fooled me for a while on the whodunit. They were flawed, they were sometimes assholes, but they were real.
It’s the miracle Robert’s been hoping for. Not quite what I was expecting, but enjoyable all the same. In the year since JD Ryan, Robert Lemos’s life partner, packed his bags and moved out, Robert has been in a painful daze, anesthetizing himself with work.
All in all, it was a truly enjoyable read. All in all, good read. Ej, both are in extreme need of some therapy, as a couple and individually.
Well, Robert and JD were exactly the opposite.
