From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Hopefully I’m not guilty of being one of those readers that I referred to as being in a rush, I just honestly feel that, great though the story may be, there were areas that dragged that I could have done without.
I was in public and unprepared. Crime and Punishment, and the Idiot are focused on the individual and Dostoevsky dives deep into his protagonist’s souls in both of those books. The narrator notes that as a child, Smerdyakov collected stray cats to hang and bury them. I exclaim, because, I have always found Christianity extremely boring. Geboreders was the deal with Katerina Ivanovna and Smerdyakov? His father tells Alyosha that he fears Ivan more than Dmitri. Si, si, lo so.
Fyodor is a wealthy libertine who holds his purse strings tightly. These privileges came with their name. The book inspires soul searching, but requires almost inhuman concentration. I got a lot more out of it this time around and I gebroders fortunate that I got kzramazov read it with the Catching up on Classics group here on Goodreads.
